Following the triumph, the Brazilian expressed his happiness seeing Chelsea come out on top. He also said that there's immense joy in the Blues' dressing room at the moment.

Chelsea had a difficult time on the field. The Blues took the lead through Romelu Lukaku in the 54th minute, but Palmeiras equalized just ten minutes later after a handball by Silva. Both teams put up great defensive performances, forcing the game to be decided in extra time.
