Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has praised Patrick Vieira for the work he has done at Crystal Palace.

The Frenchman has quickly transformed the team he inherited from Roy Hodgson into a more progressive unit, winning numerous awards in the process.

While the season is on the verge of ending, Palace has reached the FA Cup semi-finals and has won significant games against Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Manchester City.

After failing to appoint Frank De Boer in 2017, Palace took a risk by choosing a manager with no Premier League experience, especially during a summer in which a slew of first-team players also left.
