However, a strong performance allowed them to reduce the deficit to three points against Villarreal. Athletic Bilbao

Athletic have also had a strong start to the 2022-23 season, with 5W-3D-2L so far, putting them in sixth place with 18 points after 10 league games. They are only two points behind Atletico Madrid in fourth place, but they have lost three of their last four games and drawn with Sevilla and Getafe.

Prediction

Athletic have a lot of talent in the final third of the field and will be confident of scoring on Sunday night, despite Barcelona's strong defensive record this season. Despite this, it's difficult to bet against the home team given their caliber, and I expect Xavi's team to win all three points.
